About Us

We are cultivating a healthy and thriving community in Cuba and the surrounding area by strategically investing in community health care, education, individual empowerment, local business support, and infrastructure through innovative and culturally-sensitive resource and development programs. 

Core Focus Areas:

~ Improving food security

~ Creating places for healthy outdoor recreation and physical activity

~ Providing tools and opportunities for local students and community members to find their own paths to success

• Developed, assisted and sponsored pedestrian enhancements and a network of trails for community use

• Acquired and manage 55 acres of public open space land including two community trails

• Developed and distributed a Cuba Outdoor Recreation Guide and related promotional materials

• Developed and operate a monthly food pantry serving 100 to 200 families a month

• Created opportunities for Cuba High School student internships

• Sponsored Cuba clean-up days

• Performed and assisted community needs assessments

• Sponsored a community information newsletter and website
